Rosters and Player releases
and Information on Fall rosters

  1. All rosters must be completed by using the NSA forms website
  2. A player's name can only be on one roster until after the completion of the World Series unless she has an approved NSA release.
  3. If a player wishes to be released from a team and go with another team she or her parents should ask for a release from the coach of the team she is playing on. If for some reason the coach does not want to release her please contact NC NSA State Director Howard Edwards
  4. An official signed NSA release form must be received by a NSA director before a player can participate with another team.
  5. A player can only be released one time prior to the World Series.
  6. A player cannot be added to a team from another qualified team. A qualified team is any NSA team that participates in the NSA State Tournament. Even though a team wins a qualifying tournament they are not considered qualified until after they participate in the State Tournament.
  7. After a team wins a World Berth in a qualifying tournament they may only add 2 players to their roster.

Fall Rosters

  1. Player releases are not necessary for the fall program. However each team has a total of 20 roster slots and if they surpass this number they must re-register their team and should obtain new team insurance. A players name can appear on more than one roster during the fall season. Players still must be entered by using the NSA forms web site.
  2. Teams that move up to play a different age group in the fall must re-register their team and obtain new team insurance
  3. Please note that most team insurances rates increase each age division. T&F insurance (NSA provider) reduces insurance rates to 1/2 rate for the fall program.
